Yawning Druid It's no secret that Tolkien and the Ring trilogy are huge influences for many artists in the dungeon synth community--however, Nan Morlith stands out from many of the other artists using similar themes. Narn i Chîn Húrin is a perfect blend of ambience and middle earth melodies, encompassing a vast array of emotions much like Tolkien's literature. This is truly a work of art and one of the most pleasing dungeon synth albums I've heard in a good while.

Infinite Tapes Great music for building Lego with my 3 year old!

Kaptain Carbon Narn i Chîn Húrin is devoted to the Children of Hurin which is the fourth book you read in a Tolkien binge depending on if you have the revised edition by Christopher Tolkien or are reading it from Unfinished Tales. If you are a madman then you read the poem version in the third volume of The History of Middle-earth. Whatever the case, the story revolves around Túrin Turambar who is the tragic champion of deeper Tolkien material and is exquisitely given a soundtrack by a deft musician. Favorite track: Land of Bow and Helm.

about

'Narn i Chîn Húrin' is the second full length album from Nan Morlith, a concept album based upon J.R.R. Tolkien's epic tragedy - 'The Children of Húrin'.

The album follows the story of Túrin Turambar, the tragic hero of the First Age of Middle Earth, whose life was dominated by the curse of the Enemy.

His deeds became the tale called Narn i Chîn Húrin.
